He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Garrett and Jewel Garrett; and his brother Richard "Dick" Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Mary June Griffith Garrett; his children, Tim Garrett, Linda (Bob Deering), Susan (Kevin Collins) and Tony Garrett; his grandchildren, Jessica, Robert Hunt, Graham, Melissa Garrett, Kaley, Jon Spaller, Madison Blizzard, Samantha, Aaron Scheuer, Taylor Deering, Riley Deering, Chad, Cecilia Collins, Emily, Joshua Jansen, John Collins and Jenna Collins; his great grandchildren, Kaia June Hunt, Mila Kay, Grady Hollis, Mara June Garrett, Jaxon Kirk, Adalynn June and Gauge Anthony Spaller; and his sisters, Virginia Howard and Judy Cain. He is also survived by the numerous nieces and nephews.
