He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Colleen Johnson (Ellen Ives), Patrick Johnson (Barb), Bridget (Johnson) and Perion (Brian Perion); his grandchildren, Erin Valente (Tony), Aidan Johnson (Emma), Karri Perion Merriman (Sean Merriman), Amanda Perion and Sam Johnson Ives; his great grandchildren, Emerson, McKenna, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Luna; and his sister Dr. Nancy Nemeth-Jesurun (Antonio Jesurun).
