He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Helzer (Mike); his grandchildren, Joshua Mauney (Erin), Alysia Speirs (Jeff), Christopher Mauney (Brianna), Chelsey DeBoer (Kyle) and Sean Helzer; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Kaydence, Kinsley, Jackson, Bella, Bailey, Hannah and Landon; and his siblings, David and Veron Caruthers.
