He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kearns and Alice Kearns (Hughes); and his siblings, John, Timothy, Alice and Christine.

He is survived by : his wife Pat; his daughters, Patty, Michele (George), Carrie (Doug) and Andrea (Eric); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Phoebe, Max, Owen, Macy and Libby.
