He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Sackey and Mary Sackey; and his in-laws, Paul and Mary Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Nora Sackey; his siblings, Cindy Mayo (Don), Steven Sackey (Rose), Brian Sackey (Kris), Eileen Lark (Paul), Kathleen Wielgosz (Donny), Dave Sackey and Karen Sackey; his siblings-in-law, Jack Barrett (Sherri) and Susan DePalma (Doug); his daughter Lauren Paton; and his grandchildren, Sophie and Mack.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike's name to support the Dana and Christopher Reeve Foundation, honoring his journey, strength, and enduring hope.
