We announce the death of Philip C. Elkow of South Lyon, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornell Elkow and Bessie Elkow; his former wife Rosemary; and his sisters, Gloria Eising and Mona Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Elkow (Laura), Jean Steinberg (Steve), Lynn Moore (Glen) and Richard Elkow (Jennifer); his fiancé LaRea Kremhelmer; and his partner's children, Lane Woodard and William Woodard. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (122 W Lake St, South Lyon, MI 48178). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the New Hudson Cemetery (30515 Milford Rd, New Hudson, MI 48165).
