With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Comilla (South Lyon, Michigan), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her former husband John McKee; her son Joey Comilla; and her brother John Wasse. She is survived by: her husband John F. Comilla; her children, John Comilla (Linda), Deb Ford (Gary), Connie Caskey (Reggie), Chris Adler (Vic), Kim Maisano (Jerry) and Colleen Southerland (Michael); her sister Susan Noethen (Rick); and her niece Erin Heinz. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (122 W Lake St, South Lyon, MI 48178). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
