He was predeceased by: his parents, Margurite Beatrice and Vaughn Earl Hayes; his wife Linda Hayes (Jones); his daughter Kathryn Ann Hayes; and his sister Karen Degenhardt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Ufford (Donald) of Bloomfield Hills and Donna Henry (Keith) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Katy Lazenby (Kevin), Taylor Ufford, Joshua Henry (Grace) and Joseph Henry; and his great grandchild James Robert Henry.
