He is survived by: his father Harold Carlson; his sisters, Kim Potter (Dave) and Brittney Carlson (Nick Stiteler); his nephews, Danny, Benny Potter and Ashton McDermott; and his fiancée Marianne McDermott.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (122 W Lake St, South Lyon, MI 48178). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
