He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Catherine Patricia Long; his adoptive father George Winkler; his wife Judith Winkler; his children, Patrick Winkler (Kathleen), Margaret Kniskern (Matthew), Christopher Winkler (Nicole) and Brigid Essenberg (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Aidan, Zachary, Chloe, Anna, Charles, Penelope, Kate, Grayson, Rowan and Stella. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
