He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bucky" Ovist and Elizabeth Ovist (Lexson); his wife Deborah Olson; and his sons-in-law, Adam Spies and Tom Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Cherlynn Erickson, Debra Dowd, Daniel Dowd (Samantha), James Dowd (Reha), Angel Ovist and Timothy Ovist Jr.; and his sister Shelly Peliter (Jared).
