We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026, at the age of 94, Ursula E. Persha of South Range, Michigan, born in Atlantic Mine, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ursula leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Chaput and Helen Chaput (Haischer); her husband Joseph Persha; her brother Robert Chaput; and her nephew Christopher Wallberg.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Hanke (Steve); her grandchildren, Dylan Hanke (Bronwyn) of Obenhoff, Logan Hanke (Abbey) of Dollar Bay and Alyssa Hanke; her great grandchildren, Raya, Brooks and Jett; and her sisters, Carole Stevens of Trimountain and Alice Wallberg of Davison, MI. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
