He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Borawski and Florence Borawski; and his brothers, Phillip and Stanley Borawski. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Borawski; his children, Jerry Borawski (Stacey), Tom Borawski (Ginger) and Cindy Lyons (Cary); his grandchildren, Lt Jerry, SHannon, Cory, Tyler, Matt, Chantelle, Jenni, Troy, Clay, Clint, Abby, Jacob and Cody; and his siblings, Beverly Richardson, Barabra Jean Forrest and Vicky Jo Gretzler (Willy).
