He is survived by: his wife Donna Abro; his daughter Anita Swes; his son-in-law Mike; his grandsons, Marcus Dominic (Maria) and Nickolas Swes; and his siblings, Dr. Sabah Abro (Ekbal), Jamal Abro (Najat), Talal Abro (Fatin), Aida Bahoura (Sami) and Imad Abro (Nada).

A burial was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A reception was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Regency Manor & Banquet Center (25228 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034).
