She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Atkins; and her father Matthew Scott. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Scott, Aleda Brisbon and Kortney Brisbon; her grandchildren, Ta'Jinae Ray, Nehemiah Traylor and Jo'Ziah Brisbon-McDonald; her great grandchildren, Elijah Traylor and Eli'Anna Traylor; and her mother Sammie Lee Scott. She is also survived by four siblings; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342).
