He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Silverman and Lena Silverman; and his siblings, Sidney Silverman, Morley Silverman and Benny Silverman.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Bruce Silverman (Karen), Ilene Abrin (Martin), Dr. Mark Silverman (Cheryl) and Laurie Leflein (Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, Erica Silverman, Joey Abrin (Lauren), Sara Abrin, Rebecca Abrin, Samantha Silverman, Laya Silverman, Ben Silverman, Jacob Leflein (Hannah), Elana Leflein, Shoshana Leflein and Ari Leflein. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
