She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Mitz; her sisters, Eleanor Korn (late Monte) and Arlene Mehler (late Morton); her siblings-in-law, Sadie Mills (late David), Elizabeth Grenn (late Arthur) and Lawrence Mitz; and her parents, Jack Karbal and Sarah Karbal.
She is survived by: her children, Ilene Mitz (Loren Stewart) and Dr. Howard Mitz (Cantor Amy); her grandchildren, Aaron Stein (Heather Sweeter), Gabriel Goldberg, Aden Mitz and Jack Mitz; and her great grandchild Aubrey Elizabeth Stein. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
