She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Plotkin. She is survived by: her children, Chris Alpern-Penzak (late Norm Penzak) and Jamie Alpern; her brother Robert Sokolski (late Sally); her stepbrother Jon Sokolski (Marci); her stepchildren, Neil Plotkin (Annabelle) and Leah Plotkin (David Grace); and her grandsons, Oscar and Lucas Plotkin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
