He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Epstein and Elsie Epstein; his parents-in-law, Stanley Winkelman and Margaret "Peggy" Winkelman; and his brother Richard Epstein.

He is survived by: his wife Marjory Winkelman Epstein; his daughters, Lilly Epstein Stotland (Alex) and Lena Rose Epstein; his grandchildren, Nathan Stotland, Elise Stotland and Emma Jules Medwed; and his close friends, Silver and Schwartz. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, a world of friends, and many coworkers.
