He was predeceased by: his sister Karen Van Fleet (late Roland); and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Cohen and Daniel Cohen (late Gail). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hecker; his daughters, Nancy Hecker-Denschlag (Johannes Hecker Denschlag), Deborah Hecker, Susan Hecker and Jennifer Anderson (Timothy); his grandchildren, Joshua, Simon Denschlag, Harrison, Aden, Benjamin Hecker, Isaac Herzenberg, Alex "Trinle" Tsomo, Jack and Elijah Anderson; his great grandchild Sofia Tsomo; and his sister Marlene Verner (Rod). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
