She was predeceased by: her parents, Yousif Peter and Naima Peter; her husband Gabriel Esshaki; and her children, Vivian Shouneyia (John) and Thomas Esshaki.

She is survived by: her children, Jeanan Kato (Maher), John Esshaki (Hanadi), James Esshaki, Lynn Esshaki and Paulette Kuza (John).
