He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Shanker; his parents, Carol Gell and Ted Gell; and his father-in-law Igor Schoenberger. He is survived by: his wife Vera Gell; his sons, Jeffrey Gell (Elana Goldenberg) and Jared Gell (Lauren); his grandchildren, Jesse, Levi, Tate, Georgie, Teddy and Frankie Gell; and his sister Nancy Gell (Andrew Montgomery). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
