She was predeceased by: her siblings-in-law, Richard Strohl and Lynn Strohl. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Strohl; her brother Michael Morganroth (late Shila); her brother-in-law Ronald Strohl (Debbie); and her nieces and nephews, Scott Morganroth (Candy), Lonny Morganroth (Janette), Dana Strohl, Danny Strohl, Shawn Strohl and David Strohl. She is also survived by many loving great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews.

I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side”
