She was predeceased by: her parents, Crescence Wagner Winter and Albert Wagner; and her stepfather Frank Winter (Roy Head). She is survived by: her former husband Donald Kaer; her sister Shirley Morse (late George); her children, Pamela Brown (George), Nancy Hopkins (late Larry), Andrea Benson (Paul) and Douglas Kaer (Sheila); her grandchildren, Michelle Smith (Kevin), Alyssa, Katie Hopkins, Laura, Haley Benson, Peter Kaer (Megan), Edward Kaer (Amber) and Kristy Zilio (Cooper); and her great grandchildren, Arianna, Nathan, Sydnee, Linkon, Quinn and Mavis.
