He was predeceased by: his parents, Mollie Cherrin and Sam Cherrin. He is survived by: his wife Heléne Winitsky Cherrin; his children, S. J. Cherrin (Adria), Reneé Erlich (Craig) and P. J. Cherrin; his grandchildren, Alec, Brendan, Natalie Cherrin, Jonah, Sophie and Molly Erlich; and his brother Michael Cherrin (Rhonda).
