She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Munadel Kas-Shamoun; her children, Lance Kas-Shamoun (Veronica), David Kas-Shamoun and Marie Kas-Shamoun; her granddaughters, Gabriella and Elliana; her parents, Zia Zeer and Gladys Zeer (Barbat); and her siblings, Majida Rabban (late Saleem), Otoor Sitto (Mikdad), Majid Zeer (Rose), Amjed Zeer (Sahar) and Inam Babi (Ramzi).
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A reception was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Final Resting Place Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25228 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034).
