It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renee Gerger (Southfield, Michigan), who passed away on July 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gerald Leon Gerger; her children, Zach Gerger (Pili Granda), Stuart Gerger (Beth Hammermeister) and David Gerger (Denise); her grandchildren, Aaron Gerger, Hector Alvarez (Maggie Paez), Rebecca Gerger (Alexander Shats), Jeremy Gerger, Dessa Gerger, Tahlia Gerger, Rachel Gerger and Amanda Gerger; her great grandchild Adrian Alvarez; and her siblings, Clarice Simons (Bruce) and Jerry Dater (late Gitty). She was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a world of friends.

“My mother was Delores Schuldinger . She was a lifelong friend of Renee . A visit or phone call with Renee always was a pleasure . My parents also lived at Fox Run and so we’d often get a short visit with Renee and Jerry . The last time I spoke with her she was enjoying all the visits from her children and grandchildren . I am so saddened by her passing . She was an exceptional individual . My deepest condolences. Sheri Bonich ( Schuldinger ).”
