He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Irvin Kanat. He is survived by: his children, Sloan Kanat and Keller Kanat; his siblings, Lori Edelson (Robin), Les Kanat (Lanie) and Perri Rosen (Nathan); and his mother Nora Stone. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
