We announce the death of Anthony Edward Janis Jr. (Southgate, Michigan), who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Edward Janis Sr. and Elizabeth Janis; and his brothers, Richard Janis and Michael Janis. He is survived by: his wife Paulette DeBaldo-Carson; his caregiver Paulette DeBaldo-Carson; his stepchildren, Magdalene Bailo (Joseph) and Joseph Carson; his granddaughters, Julia and Sabrina Bailo; his sister Karen Olive (Michael); his nieces, Haley McIntosh (Andrew) and Emily Janis; his nephew Ian Janis; and his great-nephew Fox.
