With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dolores Blanchetti of Southgate, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dolores left this world on January 17, 2026 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Angelica Blanchetti and Margaret Joy; her parents, John and Annie; and her friend Delphine Przygocki.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Mark Przygocki, Debra Joy and Tim Joy (Pat); her great-nephews, Nic Girouard, Justin Girouard (Trish), Michael Joy and Scott Joy; her pets, Sassy and Shih Tzu; Lavender Girouard.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Homes (14032 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195). The lying in state was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (344 Elm St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A Mass was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (334 Elm St, Wyandotte, MI 48192).
Please, no flowers as Dolores felt the money could be spent for so many people and animals in need. Therefore, donations are appreciated to Wyandotte Animal Adoption Center or the Pallottine Fathers Missions.
