He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine; and his brothers, Jim Young and John Young. He is survived by: his children, Alan Young and Karen Ansara (Norman); his sisters, Betty Schantz and Margie Sshantz; his grandchildren, Rachel Nieman (David), Jeannie Freeman (Pat), Alan Young Jr. and Marie Young; and his great grandchildren, Cash Freeman, Jace Freeman and Mason Morton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (15748 Fort St, Southgate, MI 48195). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
