With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Allen Clarkson (Southgate, Michigan), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on April 22, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Buck" Clarkson and Helen Clarkson; and his brothers, Bobby Clarkson and Larry Clarkson. He is survived by: his wife Christa Clarkson; his children, Dustin Clarkson (Jaclyn), Bryce Clarkson and Mercedes Hardin (Patrick); his granddaughter Delilah Ann; and his siblings, Sue Shaw (Bruce), Terry Clarkson (Jenean) and Phyllis McGiness (Joseph). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.
Through his donation, he has offered hope, healing, and the precious gift of continued life to others, ensuring that in a very real and meaningful way, a piece of Gary's great heart lives on.
