Katerina Mihalis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katerina Mihalis of Southgate, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Katerina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Katerina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anastasios Mihalis; her parents, Konstandinos Dedes and Konstandina Dedes; and her sisters, Panagiota Korogiannos and Maria Dounis.
She is survived by: her children, Zack Mihalis (Annette) and Alexandra Mihalis; her grandchildren, Anastasios, Renno and Katerina; and her sibling Panagioti Dedes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
