He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Lengyel and Lily Lengyel; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lengyel. He is survived by : his former life partner Leah Melissaratos; his friend Tim McGuire; his daughter Shelly Huyck; his grandchildren, Brooke Krese, Lauren Smith (Tobey), Alexandra Huyck and Steven Huyck; his great grandchildren, Elora, Annalise, Damian, Azrael and Caine; his siblings, Larry Lengyel and Lynne Baggett (Hal); and his nephews, Michael Lengyel (Anna), Joey Lengyel (Nina) and Tim Baggett (Emily).
