He was predeceased by: his parents, Lluka and Athina; and his siblings, Ilia (Tatiana), Foto, Elisaveta, Meropi Nune (Xhuvi) and Jorgaq (Tefta).
He is survived by: his wife Natasha; his children, Eva Tahirllari (Bardhyl), Monika Mingo (Anesti) and Enri (Lorena); his grandchildren, Franceska, Johan Mingo and Leonidha Mingo; and his sibling Thoma (late Lirika). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
