It is with sadness that the passing of Marlene A. LaVoy of Southgate, Michigan is shared. Marlene, born on October 24, 1936, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Marlene will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Marlene by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Marlene is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Marlene’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert; her children, David LaVoy (Susan), Cheryl Bussell (late Jeffrey), Linda McLellan (Vincent) and Kenneth LaVoy; and her siblings, Wilbur Stotz (June) and Kay Lindsay. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Brownstown (23700 West Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48183). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
