He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverly; and his children, Christin Rutkey (Robert), Susan Elliott (Randy), Nicholas Coates (late Jackie) and Charles Coates (Michelle). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
