He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Snyder and Tilly Snyder (King); and his sister Carol Snyder (Heather McDonnell). He is survived by : his wife Patty; his children, Patty Lou, Dean Snyder, Margo Snyder and Stacy Smith (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Sawyer, Hudson, Margo and Leah "Gigi".

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Veteran's Hospital Ann Arbor, Hospice of Michigan Ann Arbor and St. Judes.
