He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kober and Alma Kober (Lachman); his wife Ida Mae (Frens); his sister Doris Schamber; and his son-in-law Rick.
He is survived by: his children, Renae Wells, Jill VanOeffelen (Jack), Richard Kober (Cathy) and James Kober (Donna); his grandchildren, Travis Wells (Tara Helmer), Tina Dohm (DJ), Tanya Wilson (Joe), Jeff VanOeffelen (Jenny), Joy Martinez (Juan), Janessa Slangen (Alba), Nathan Kober (Amy Clark), Andrea Martin (Seth), Monica Cvancigar (Cody), Benjamin Kober, Sarah Kober and Amy Kober; and his nephew Paul Schamber (Fran). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
