She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hackmeier and Frances Hackmeier (Patten); her husband David O'Brien; and her grandson Adam Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Malissa Johnson (Eric) and Christine Miller (Bob); and her grandchildren, Collin Johnson, Alyssa Johnson, Gillian Johnson, Breslyn Rose Miller and Maverick Miller.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be given to ASPCA or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
