She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hoogeveen and Carolyn Hoogeveen (Bolt); her husband John Timmer; her son Steve Timmer; and her siblings, William (Arlene), Henry (Phyllis), Kenneth, John, Donald, Patricia Deemter (Richard) and Marilyn Ebels (David).

She is survived by: her sister Lavina Hoogeveen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
