He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Finkler; his siblings, Deb Minard and Robert; and his nephew Dana. He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Finkler (Sidlauskas); and his siblings, Denise Hammond (Brian), Mike Finkler and Diane Wahlfield (Mike Snowdin). He is also survived by family members and friends.

“I was so very sorry to learn that Jim had passed away. My deepest sympathies. When Jim and I married on July 20, 1996, he was one of the nicest people I had ever know. Jim was a hard worker, always working on cutting wood or the garden. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He was very personable and had a great sense of humor.”
