She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Johnson and Johanna Johnson (Koomen); her husband Lowell Johnson; and her daughter Denise Shangle. She is survived by: her children, David Johnson (Jonell) and Debbie Bissard (John); her son-in-law Dick Shangle; her grandchildren, Kevin, Martha Shangle, Rebecca Shangle, Lauren Johnson (Derek Wibben), Ryan Clemans (Kirsten), Megan Johnson, Jessica Bissard, David, Lauren Shangle, Kristen Bissard and Anna Bissard; and her great grandchildren, Caden, Sophia, Harvey, Gideon, Ciel, Emiliana, Alyaih, Charlotte, Esmee, Sarayah, Juliet and Mathias. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church (4085 Lutheran Church Rd NW, Kent City, MI 49330). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be given to Mamrelund Lutheran Church.
