He was predeceased by: his father Ken Quist; his brother Bryan Quist; and his grandmother Emma Beardsley. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Quist; his brother Todd Quist (Lorraine); his former wife Lisa Quist; his daughters, Heather Fix (Mike), Rose Quist, Holly Quist and Jessica Quist; and his grandchildren, Mila, Calvin, Ryder and Jeremiah. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
