He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Uplinger and Geraldine Uplinger; his close friend Ginny Tillman; his brother Chuck Uplinger; and his great grandchild Alana Ann Tillette.
He is survived by: his significant other Ginny Tillman; his children, Ron Uplinger (Tamara) of Cedar Springs and Barbara May (Benny) of Florida; his sisters, Jessica Morris (Larry), Cheryl Whitmore (Ernie), Fran Callender (Dave), Bridgie Miller (Denis) and Tinker Kloe (Rick); and his grandchildren, Tasha Lakatos (Steve), Ronnie Uplinger (Kathryn), Jesse May (Julie), Audrey Tillette (Tony), Tom Uplinger (Kaylie) and Brad Uplinger (Devin). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
