She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Phelps (Whittaker); her daughter Rene'Lynn Horton; her father Jerome Jr. Phelps; and her sisters, Sherry Wright and Kathy Jo Phelps.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Horton; and her daughter Kristy Albonetti (Michael).
