She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl "Jack" Smith and Rosa Smith (Dieterich); her brother Robert Smith; her sons, Irving Jansma, Jr. and Rick Jansma; her grandson Chad VanDyke; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Jansma.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda, Ron VanDyke of Hesperia, Brian Jansma of Ravenna, Steven Jansma of St. Augustine, Michael, Lorri Jansma of Greenville, Kim Jansma, Jeff Teesdale of Cedar Springs, Lisa and Tom Sturtevant of Kent City. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
