Sharon Marie Leavens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025, at the age of 72, Sharon Marie Leavens of Sparta, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Menke and Catherine Menke (Mulholland); her brothers-in-law, Roy Taylor and Brian Hamstra; her sister Marcia Menke; and her nephew Noah Hamstra.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Leavens; her siblings, David, Dennis Menke (Mary Beth), Susan Taylor (Roy), Sarah Hamstra (Brian) and Sandra Menke; and her brother-in-law Chris Leavens (Lynne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
