It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Matthew Sommer (Sparta, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sommer and Joanne Sommer (Peterson). He is survived by: his daughters, Cassie Lee Vasser (Adam) of Cadillac and Elizabeth Paige Lizotte (Doug) of Royal Oak; his grandchildren, Makenzyee Lee-Ann and Brayden Kessler; and his siblings, Karin Wenger (John) of Greenville, Faith Ann Barnett (Ernest) of Belding, William Sommer of Camillus, NY and Joseph Sommer of Fife Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid 19 gathering restrictions, there will be a private viewing for immediate family at this time.
