He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Schweitzer and Veronica Schweitzer (Ritzenhein); and his sister Lois Vita. He is survived by: his wife Carla Joyce Boese; his children, Amanda Weersma (Lance) and Nick Schweitzer (Renee); his grandchildren, Olivia, Lena Weersma, Xavier and Braxton Schweitzer; his siblings, Vincent Schweitzer (Marie), Susan Schmitt (Chuck) and Sandy Power; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Boese, Barb Pollock, Deb Ross and Bert Grote (Tim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
